2 New National Record, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze medal from Istanbul

Our athletes finished their participation in Istanbul, Balkan Indoor and Istanbul Cup Competitions.

Generally results were successful as our athletes gained 1 silver and 1 bronze medal and set 2 new National Records during these competitions. Nazim Babayev was 2nd in Balkan Indoor Championships in Triple Jump event woth the result of 16.68. Zakiyya Hasanova won bronze medal in Istanbul Cup in 60m with the result of 7.46

Also, in Balkan Indoors, in 60m event, Zakiyya Hasanova set new Azerbaijan Indoor Record with the result of 7,36 at the same time booked the place for the European Indoor Championships, Glasgow 2019. Teymur Salahzade set National Youth Indoor Record in 400m event with the result of 50,52.
